Dorothy Wheatley is the school nurse at Phillis Wheatley Middle School. She spent 15 years in the hospital nursing field and has been at Woodbridge for the last 15 years. Dorothy attended Delaware Technical Community College and Wilmington College.

     She has a 22 year old "gorgeous surfer dude" son - Seth, an 8 year old Black Lab - Bo Diddley, and a nosey cat - Mittens. Dorothy enjoys camping, beading, and anything to do with the beach. She volunteers with the Apple-Scrapple Festival, NSNA, and DSNA.

     Dorothy accepted a leadership role in WEA because she felt that it was time to step up to the plate. She needed to understand how WEA worked and to bring the association to the forefront and collaborate with administration. Dorothy's email is dwheatley@wsd.k12.de.us
