Doug Backus

Woodbridge Education Association Representative

Doug Backus serves as a PWMS association representative. Doug was born and raised in Canton, NY, graduating from H.C. Williams High School in 1994.  He graduated from the State University of New York at Potsdam, with a BA in mathematics and an Elementary Education minor.

Doug is married to Shannon, and has 3 children Donnie-6, Jaylee-3, and Derek "Joey"-1.  

This is his 3rd year at Woodbridge, teaching 7th and 8th grade math. He has coached Varsity softball, middle school soccer and middle school baseball.

A well known quote..."The squeaky wheel gets the oil."  When you think about it, the squeaky wheel gets replaced if the oil doesn't fix it!
