Alan L. O'Neal serves as a WEA SCOPE building representative. He is a Social Studies teacher at SCOPE and has been teaching in Woodbridge for 9 years.

     Mr. O'Neal earned his BA degree in History from Bridgewater College and an LLD from Delaware Law School. He has a daughter - Rhiannon O'Neal, and a son - Rhys O'Neal.

     Alan's hobbies are basketball refereeing, golfing, and reading. He can be reached at aoneal@wsd.k12.de.us

     Mr. O'Neal accepted a leadership role because he believes strongly in the need to have a strong union to protect the staff from the "corporatization" and abuse of the education system.
